Contfronting the Shadow
“To confront a person with his shadow is to show him his own light.”— Carl Jung
The shadow holds the parts of you that were met with rejection, ridicule, or misunderstanding. At some point, you learned, “If I hide this part of me, I’ll be liked.” That single moment of protection turned into a pattern of self-accommodation.
But hiding parts of yourself does not make them disappear. They resurface as insecure emotions and behaviors that drive your choices.
Here is the truth:
What you call “dark” is often light in disguise — your sensitivity, strength, creativity, and intuition.
Healing begins when you meet these parts with compassion. Through compassion, you become integrated.
