Relational, trauma-informed therapy for identity, anxiety, and life transitions.

A sanctuary-like space for reflection, emotional clarity, and long-term growth—rooted in cultural humility and care.

You’ve been holding it together long enough.

You may look accomplished on the outside—capable, driven, reliable—while quietly feeling disconnected, conflicted, or emotionally exhausted inside.

Perhaps cultural expectations, family roles, or professional pressures have left little room for your inner world.

Over time, this can show up as anxiety, loneliness, relational strain, or a persistent sense that something important has been left unattended

through multicultural, relational, and trauma-informed therapy,

The Sanctum offers a different pace

We seek to understand patterns and integrate all parts of you, then move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.

This space is for you if…

  • You’re high-functioning, yet longing for deeper emotional clarity

  • You’re exploring identity, belonging, or relational patterns

  • You value depth, insight, and relational presence over quick solutions

  • You’re open to long-term, integrative therapeutic work

  • You want culturally responsive care that honors your full lived experience

We don’t do quick fixes, symptom-only solutions, or rush the process here. We’re here to walk with you through it.

The Sanctum Process

SCHEDULE

You begin by scheduling an initial consultation online, at a time that feels right for you.

This first step is intentional and self-directed—allowing you to enter therapy with choice, clarity, and respect for your own readiness.

EXPLORE

Our early sessions focus on understanding your story in full—your relationships, cultural context, emotional patterns, and lived experiences.

We move at a pace that feels steady, thoughtful, and attuned to what you need.

GROW

As the work deepens, we gently explore recurring themes, internal conflicts, and relational dynamics.

Together, we look beneath symptoms to understand how past experiences, identity, and long-held roles continue to shape your inner world.

INTEGRATE

Therapy becomes a space for integration rather than fixing.

Insight and emotional presence come together, supporting greater clarity, self-trust, and a way of moving forward that feels grounded and aligned.

I believe, until you create the conditions for healing, your emotional wounds will continue to reopen in familiar ways.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Currently, therapy is offered virtually throughout Wisconsin. In-person sessions will be available in the future.

  • Yes. I accept insurance and am credentialed through Alma. To determine whether your specific insurance plan is accepted, please use the links provided on this website, as coverage varies.

I also offer private-pay services, which may be accessed either through Alma or directly with me. Individual therapy sessions are $175, and couples sessions are $250. If you have questions about insurance, private pay, or which option may be the best fit for you, I encourage you to review the scheduling links or reach out for additional clarification.

  • The first session is an invitation to arrive as you are. It is a space to slow down, take a breath, and begin sharing what has brought you here—at a pace that feels right for you. There is no expectation to have everything figured out or neatly articulated.

We’ll spend time exploring your concerns, your background, and what you hope therapy might offer you. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences, while leaving room for your questions, reflections, and curiosity about the process.

Above all, the first session is about connection and clarity. It’s a moment to sense whether this space feels safe, respectful, and supportive—because meaningful therapeutic work begins when you feel seen, heard, and at ease enough to begin.

  • I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. This allows me to offer the time to another client who may be waiting for support.

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed sessions, may be subject to a cancellation fee. I understand that unexpected circumstances arise, and I approach these situations with care and discretion.

If you have questions or concerns about scheduling, you’re always welcome to reach out so we can discuss what feels reasonable and supportive.

  • Therapy doesn’t move by a preset timeline—it unfolds in its own way for each person. Sessions are typically 60 minutes, and the number of sessions depends on what brings you in, what you hope to explore, and how the work evolves over time.

Some people come to therapy seeking support through a specific moment or transition, while others choose to stay longer as new layers of understanding emerge. Along the way, we’ll pause together to reflect on how the process is feeling and whether it continues to support what you need.

In the end, therapy lasts as long as it feels meaningful and helpful—offering space for reflection, integration, and growth at a pace that honors you.

  • Getting started is simple. You can begin by visiting the scheduling links on this website to book an initial session through Alma,  where you can also view insurance and private-pay options. If you prefer, you’re welcome to reach out directly with any questions before scheduling.

Once your session is scheduled, you’ll receive intake forms to complete at your own pace. From there, we’ll meet and begin—creating space for conversation, reflection, and connection. Therapy starts not with having everything figured out, but with the willingness to show up.

  • The rhythm of therapy is something we decide together. Many clients begin by meeting weekly to build consistency and momentum, while others may shift to biweekly sessions as their needs, goals, and life circumstances evolve.

We’ll check in along the way to ensure the frequency continues to feel supportive, sustainable, and aligned with what you’re working toward.

  • I work with individuals navigating the emotional weight of identity, relationships, and life transitions. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, stress, and burnout—particularly as they intersect with cultural expectations, family dynamics, and professional pressures.

I specialize in multicultural and relational concerns, supporting clients as they navigate bicultural or multicultural identities, intergenerational patterns, boundary-setting, and the complexities of belonging. I also work with individuals processing trauma, grief, and loss, as well as those seeking deeper self-understanding, emotional clarity, and alignment with their values.

I have extensive experience working with members of the veteran community and hold a deep respect for the resilience shaped by service. I am especially interested in supporting veterans and first responders as they navigate the psychological impact of high-responsibility roles, chronic stress, moral injury, identity shifts, and the transition between service and civilian life.

Much of my work centers on helping clients slow down, name what they are carrying, and create space for integration and healing—especially when life has required strength long before rest.
