The First Chapter of The Sanctum- Dr. Laya Reddy, PsyD

One year ago today, The Sanctum Psychotherapy came to life. In truth, the story took shape long before that.

It began with a young girl carrying a vision she could not yet fully articulate, but knew would become her life’s work. A belief that healing requires spaces where people could arrive exactly as they are. This past year has been the realization of that vision’s first chapter.

To every client who has entrusted me with the sacred privilege of witnessing your story: Thank you. There are few honors greater than being invited into the complexities of another person’s inner world. Your courage, vulnerability, and willingness to engage in the work of healing continually remind me of why I am in the service of this profession.

To every referral source and community partner who has placed trust in me, thank you for believing in both my work and the vision behind it. I hold your trust with profound gratitude and deep responsibility.

To my family, friends, mentors, and every person who believed in me long before this vision became tangible, thank you. I am immensely grateful for your encouragement when this dream existed only in conversation and for reminding me that some dreams are worth building with time, intention, and unwavering faith.

While The Sanctum continues to grow, my hope remains unchanged: to build a place where healing is approached with depth, humility, and reverence for the stories of people.
